Grace Go has received our Exemplary Employee Award for the month of October. The award recognizes outstanding employees who demonstrate their commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Grace works as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in our Respiratory Care Department. She joined our Gardena team in November 2016. She was nominated by two individuals who had these comments about her:
“Grace consistently goes above and beyond to assist co-workers, the department, and her patients. She demonstrates this every shift. She works by helping others with their assignments, assisting with special procedures and immediately escalating all issues of concern for prompt resolution. She also volunteers to make her co-workers feel special by decorating and helping to plan special evens. She is an exemplary employee.”
“During a very busy and stressful situation in the ICU, Grace remained calm, professional, and supportive while assisting physicians, nurses, and me. During a complicated bedside procedure, Grace guided me through an unfamiliar task with patience and clear communication, ensuring everything was handled safely and efficiently. Her teamwork and leadership helped keep the sitation under control and created a positive learning experience for staff. Grace consisistently demonstrates professionalism, compassion, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.”
