I have been a case manager for 20 years, and I love what I do. I enjoy coordinating care for my patients. I like the teamwork we have with the social workers, discharge coordinators, doctors and nurses on each floor. I get satisfaction when I see my patients smile and their family members appreciate what we do. There are even times when patients or family members call me after discharge, and I am able to direct them to the appropriate health agency or insurance contact. I am so grateful to have a job where I can make a difference in people’s lives every day.
