Marco Paz, RN, is the latest recipient of the Daisy Award at Memorial Hospital of Gardena. Paz is a long-term employee of the PACU unit – employed since August 2012.
Paz was nominated for the award by a patient who wrote, “My experience at Gardena Memorial has been one of my best hospital experiences ever! I had surgery here on 02/02/2023, and I must admit that I was nervous.”
She went on to describe Paz as “kind and empathetic to her needs” as he cared for her in recovery.
She wrote, “Overall, I am so happy and thankful for all the staff at Gardena Memorial and would recommend their facilities to anyone needing surgery!!!”
