A two-year accreditation from the American College of Radiology for Memorial Hospital of Gardena was reason to celebrate.
Team members gathered for a celebratory lunch after their recent achievement.
“This is an important certification of the quality of our radiology department,” explained hospital CEO Victor Carrasco. “We met the quality criteria and affirmed the competency of our well-trained staff using the right tools to deliver safe patient care.”
Carrasco added that quality radiology services are an important element for safety net hospitals to serve the community.
